The Vario-lathe Profi 880 G Vario lathe features a reduction gear as standard, which eliminates the need to change speed step using V-belt. Another feature of this machine is the standard frequency inverter, resulting in high torque in the lower speed range and the nearly constant speed at heavy workloads.
- Complete with 38 mm spindle bore to allow processing of large shaft diameters
- Strongly reinforced machine bed featuring induction-hardened, polished guide
- Suitable for processing of steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics
- Universal in use: longitudinal turning, facing, profiling, thread cutting etc.
- Change gears for cutting of metric threads are part of the standard accessories
- Main spindle features adjustable tapered roller bearings in P5 quality
- User-friendly arrangement of control elements on gear head
- Tailstock features single-lever clamping, adjustable for taper turning
- V-ledges allow for adjustment of bed way guides
- Serially with Delta frequency inverter for high torque in low speed range and nearly constant speed at heavy workloads
